The Brief
A sea-facing villa required a pool that would read as a single sheet of water against the horizon.
The Design
The pool was aligned to the living pavilion and pushed to the plot edge, with the vanishing edge set exactly on the sightline from the interior.
The Engineering
A cantilevered edge beam, balance tank and variable-speed circulation keep the overflow silent and the edge line perfectly level.
The Materials
Welded reinforced PVC membrane in a stone finish, natural stone coping, concealed underwater lighting.
The Execution
Structure, waterproofing and finishing were delivered in sequence with continuous site supervision.
The Result
A pool that disappears into the sea from every principal room of the house.
